Please include in your message to me through instagram:


- Hat Size/age (I recommend measuring the head circumference of your baby/child)
- Preferred colours or colour themes
- Any special details (like wording or name)
- If it is for a special occasion (I usually have a 4-6 week turn around for hats, but I am trained to work to deadlines 😂)

- Budget - I am really transparent when it comes to whether what you request is within your budget and if not, we can still make
something amazing that sits within it. 

Once I receive your message, I will get back to you with whether i think your ideas would be manageable and how we could make it so
if not.

4. I will then mock up a design for you and then once we confirm everything is as you want it. I will then send an invoice to
you (minus the deposit paid). There will not be any nasty surprises, because we will have already of agreed to your budget.

5. Once payment is received in full (I use PayPal for invoices) I can start making your design.

At this point the 4-6 weeks for producing your piece will start.

So the quicker the above processes occur then the sooner I can make a start.

- Size/age (so I can get an idea for design idea and cost)
- Preferred colours or themes

- If it is for a special occasion (I usually have a 6-8 week turn around, but I am trained to work to deadlines 😂)

5. Once payment is received in full I will send you my address to send your knitwear too. When I receive your knitwear, I will let you know through instagram messenger.

Yes, of course you can, however once you have paid for your invoice in full I will not be able to make any significant design changes. It does take time due to the nature of the craft. I also develop my appliques using a freestyle technique, which means I do not use any patterns and create them bespoke, myself. So every creation I make really is unique.

I am also a one woman machine and this is not my full time occupation.

TV characters or Disney this is due to copyrighting and trademark laws. Disney are particularly strong about how their products are re-designed. I am happy to use wordings 'Ohana means family' or 'Hakuna Matata.'

I also have my own style, which is typically seasons, woodland and magical.

I am happy to develop ideas based on traditional children's story books. I have re-created Rainbow Fish, Elmer, Owl babies, Dear Zoo characters before.

Character designs do come at a higher cost because of how intricate and unique the designs are.

I would not create anything which may be a copy of another crochet small business design. I am part of a community of small business mamas, within Instagram and completely respect the work of my fellow insta creative mamas. I can take inspiration, but if I needed too I would be contacting the original designer.
